Our Grants

The primary activity of the Centre is to host and facilitate research projects.

CAS funds projects within and across the fields of the humanities, social sciences, and natural sciences. We support both established scholars through the CAS Research Grant and talented early career scholars through the Young CAS Grant.

There are no laboratory facilities at CAS. However, we accept projects involving laboratory work, fieldwork, and data collection in so far as the aim is to develop the theoretical aspects of the research. Laboratory work, fieldwork and data collection must take place either before the stay at CAS or at another suitable place during the stay.
