NordIAS admin meeting at CAS
Last week CAS had the pleasure of hosting colleagues from all eight Nordic Institutes for Advanced Studies.

Representatives from all eight gathered in Oslo to exchange local experiences, share best practices, and align current and future fellowship programmes.
A key focus of the meeting was the upcoming NNF-IAS Fellowship Programme on Health and Sustainability, supported by the Novo Nordisk Foundation. This ambitious joint initiative will offer 20 fellowships over five years, with fellows hosted across Denmark, Norway, Finland, and Sweden. The first call is set to open this summer, with the programme launching in 2027.
Beyond programme planning, the two-day meeting emphasized the importance of strong relationships, coordination, and shared direction across the NordIAS network.
We look forward to continuing the cooperation and conversation at future meetings, and to further developing our Nordic partnerships in the years ahead.
